Sometime back, I attended this class "Tasauf" at my old office. In one of the chapter, Ustaz Hj Umar explained to all of us that - rightfully we should love all the human-being (hamba Allah). And he added that we should not hate anybody, we only hate his or her wrong-doing.
If I'm mistaken, the class was sometime in year 2000++ (ie maybe 2002 or 2003, sorry, I could not exactly recall the date). But something for sure, it was during the political crisis mode, ie during the after-year Tun Mahathir sacked DS Anwar Ibrahim. I hate Tun Mahathir like crazy, anything good he did, to me is no good. Any word that he said, just another lie to me.
Tasauf is good to me since it teach us to understand ourself, our seven (7) “deria” that was created by Allah, ie eye (to see), ear (to hear), hand (to write, karate?), leg (to walk) etc etc. Tasauf then teach us to understand all the “penyakit” associated with all this “seven-deria” and then understand how to cure all the “penyakit”
Now come the challenge… can I teach myself to
To love Tun Mahathir and
To only hate Tun Mahathir’s wrong-doing
To love all the human being and all the politician yang telah menyusahkan kepala otak ini dengan all the current, past and future problems??
Can I or can you take the above challenge? Or the above is only applicable to those who wanna be the “Ahli Tasauf”?. Ya Allah, help me please
